Julian was the co-head of the Financial Institutions Group at UBS Australia and has had a distinguished career as a financial adviser, having been involved in many of the major M&A advisory and capital markets transactions in the financial services sector in Australia over the last 13 years.
He is universally regarded as one of the leading corporate advisers in the financial institutions sector over this period.
Prior to joining UBS Australia, Julian was employed for a number of years as a treasury analyst at Merrill Lynch EMEA.
Julian has a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and a Master of Business Studies (MBS), both from University College Dublin and is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK.
Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director
Garry McLennan has over 40 years’ corporate and financial services experience, including five years as Chief Financial Officer at FlexiGroup, an ASX 200
Prior to his time at FlexiGroup, Garry spent 23 years at HSBC Bank Australia where he was Chief Financial Officer and subsequently Chief Operating Officer. He has previously served on the board of HSBC Bank Australia and The Australian Banking Industry Ombudsman Ltd.
Chief Commercial Officer
Bevan has over 20 years of financial services, fleet leasing and automobile manufacturer experience across both Australia and New Zealand. He joined the Eclipx Group nine years ago, starting within FleetPartners New Zealand before becoming Managing Director of FleetPlus Australia in 2014.
His focus has been on ensuring Eclipx fleet leads the market in delivering unique customer solutions that utilise innovative technology and are backed by exceptional service, which has resulted in the business winning major accounts.
In 2018, Eclipx combined the leadership of FleetPartners Australia and FleetPlus under Bevan. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland and is a fellow member of The CEO Institute.
Chief Operating Officer
Jeff McLean has over 15 years’ experience in senior executive roles with significant experience in Credit, Collections, Operational Excellency including Best Call Centre and AON Hewitt Best Employer.
Prior to joining Eclipx, Jeff’s prior roles included Chief Operating Officer at FlexiGroup and Head of Operations at Credit Corp, both ASX 200 listed companies.
Managing Director, Group Transformation and Internal Partnerships
Paul Verhoeven has 20 years’ experience in asset finance and vehicle fleet leasing.
Prior to joining Eclipx, Paul’s roles included Head of Lending for UDC Finance (a subsidiary of ANZ) and European Risk Director for First Data, an international merchant acquirer.
Managing Director, FleetPartners New Zealand
Russell has over 15 years’ experience in senior roles in financial services and asset finance. Prior to joining Eclipx in 2017, he spent 13 years as General Manager New Zealand of ASX listed FlexiGroup.
Russell has extensive experience managing some of New Zealand’s largest leasing programs in SME, corporate and government sectors.
Director – Pan Tasman Fleet New Zealand
Dennis Kelly has 40 years’ experience in leasing, commercial asset financing and general banking.
Prior to joining Eclipx, Dennis held several senior executive roles including Managing Director of Hertz Fleetlease NZ, General Manager of Capital Equipment Finance NZ, Regional Manager of Countrywide Bank and General Manager of NZI Bank.
Managing Director, Eclipx Commercial Australia
Anthony Roberts has over 20 years’ experience in the Australian Asset & Equipment Finance industry, including over 4 years as General Manager, Vendor & Commercial Finance of FlexiGroup, an ASX 200 company. Prior to his time at FlexiGroup, Anthony held a number of senior positions with global finance companies including CIT, GE and Rabobank.
Anthony’s role as Managing Director of Eclipx Commercial encompasses sales leadership, business development and strategic growth. He is passionate about delivering smarter, more innovative finance solutions to the market and empowering both staff and clients to achieve greater success.
Managing Director, Consumer
David Brudenell has over 15 years’ experience in senior roles, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge specifically in the consumer and digital space. Prior to joining Eclipx, David was Chief Digital Officer and Head of Product for Universum, where he led the digital transformation of the business globally.
David has also held senior positions as Executive Vice President and Commercial Director at Pureprofile (ASX: PPL). While there he led Pureprofile’s global sales, business operations, strategic partnerships and alliances.
Managing Director, Right2Drive
Damian Mullins has been the Managing Director of Right2Drive since its inception. Right2Drive was BRW Australia’s 13th fastest growing company in 2015
Prior to Right2Drive, Damian spent 20 years in senior roles within the Australian Liquor industry at Penfolds, Southcorp, Fosters and Constellation (now Accolade Wines).
Joint Managing Director, GraysOnline
Chris Corbin has over 12 years’ experience in the auction industry, including planning, preparation, marketing, financial analysis, execution and post sale analysis for traditional and online auctions, onsite and in-room auctions, negotiated sales (national and international), private treaty, tender, offers invited, for sale and asset management programs.
Chris is a licensed auctioneer and valuer with a broad knowledge of marine, mining and civil earthmoving industries. Chris has also completed AICD’s Company Directors Course.
Joint Managing Director, GraysOnline
Josh Sanders has over 16 years’ experience in the auction industry and oversees both the B2B and B2C sales divisions of GraysOnline. Josh also managed Grays’ NSW industrial business for over eight years.
Josh has extensive knowledge and expertise in the transport, construction, manufacturing and engineering industries and has worked on some of Australia’s largest industrial asset sales. He has a proven track record of achieving outstanding results in managing large scale projects and assisting clients to determine the most cost effective method of asset disposal.
Chief Information Officer
Albert Ho has over 35 years’ experience in information technology with proven experience in real time online banking and trading systems in HSBC Group, including five years with HSBC Insurance in Hong Kong and 25 years in senior management roles with HSBC Australia.
Albert has been with the Eclipx Group since May 2014.
Head of Business Strategy and Investor Relations
Jason Muhs has over 15 years’ experience in senior strategy roles for finance companies.
Prior to joining Eclipx, Jason was Head of Strategy at FlexiGroup and Director of Strategy & Product at GE Money Mortgages.
Human Resources Director
Michelle has over 25 years’ experience in senior roles within the people function internationally, including Australia, Asia, the US and Europe. Michelle’s expertise is in Strategic & Operational Human Resources, Change Management, M&A, Talent Management, Culture, Reward and HR Systems.
Prior to joining Eclipx, Michelle held leadership roles in Human Resources across MNCs in a wide variety of industries, ranging from technology to engineering and construction, financial services, private equity and professional services.
Chief Risk Officer
Edward Ho has over 35 years’ experience in banking and risk. His experience has included corporate banking, managing trade finance and retail networks, business development, asset recovery, credit and operations support.
Before joining Eclipx, Edward was Head of Internal Audit for HSBC’s operations in Australia and New Zealand, and Director – Risk Advisory and Internal Audit at UNSW.
General Counsel and Company Secretary
Matt Sinnamon joined Eclipx in October 2014 following eight years with ING Bank Australia as Head of Legal, Compliance and Company Secretary.
Prior to his time with ING, Matt held various legal and accounting positions with Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Perpetual Limited and Pitcher Partners.
Matt is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. He is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, a Chartered Secretary and is entered on the Roll of Public Notaries.
